HAITC celebrates World tourism day 2023 on a new campus

Students from Hainan University - Arizona State University International Joint Tourism College (HATC) are gearing up to celebrate UN World Tourism Day at their brand-new campus in Mission Hills Haikou. The exciting lineup of activities includes a warm welcome from the college's leadership, a postcard to HAITC friends and stakeholders, and an inspiring Student Letter sharing student perspectives.

But that's not all! We've also organized a Magazine Contribution Competition that promises to showcase some remarkable talents. On September 26th, a thrilling Scavenger Hunt will take participants on an adventure through the Mission Hills area, leading up to an Awards Ceremony and movie screening. The evening will culminate in the screening of "The Last Tourists" documentary.

Postcard from Dean Wang: Kickstarting the day's activities, Dean Wang will send out a heartfelt postcard to all students, faculty, and partners, emphasizing the significance of sustainable tourism investments for people, the planet, and prosperity. 2. Student Letter: HAITC student Haying May will share her insights and aspirations for the future of tourism through a thought-provoking letter, highlighting the role of the younger generation in shaping the industry. 3. Magazine Contribution Competition: The college will host a competition encouraging students to submit magazine articles that explore innovative solutions and ideas for tourism investments. This competition aims to foster creativity and critical thinking among the student body. 4. Scavenger Hunt in Mission Hills Centreville and our new campus: As a fun and interactive way to celebrate World Tourism Day, HAITC will organize a scavenger hunt in the beautiful Mission Hills Centreville, allowing participants to explore the local attractions while learning about sustainable tourism practices. 5.
